how to write an affiliate link in html and insert it into WordPress theme text page?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a site with a word press theme installed. I am making a post as my home page for an affiliate site. I have my affiliate link to the product site but can’t seem to get the html coding for an affiliate to be clickable in the text I am writing. Please advise.
If the affiliate link is just a URL link like http://www.AffiliateLink.blah.co.uk than you just need to select a part of the text that reads "Visit my sponsor" and then click on the ChainLink icon above in the rich editor button area. In the popup paste the URL that is supposedly your Affiliate.
If it is a Java script, than you need to go to the HTML editor (have a look at the tabs, there is Visual/HTML above the right text area) and paste the JS code there.
