To the uneducated person, affiliate marketing could certain appear as if it is a scam. It is not a scam – it’s a legitimate business opportunity. However, you may have been mislead about how things really are. You can not get rich over night, you DO need to work(a lot of work), and it’s not easy.

You’re right about affiliate marketing. Marketing Amazon type products can be tough but very profitable. What is the real scam part of affiliate marketing is the authors of a Money Making System that’ being sold to the unsuspecting. A few make some money but most don’t.
That amounts to selling a “Salted Gold Mine.-Iron Pyrite-” The owner of that hole makes lots of money. Buying a money making idea is about the same as buying the salted gold mine. There is no gold in either.
