If Obama’s long-ago association association with Bill Ayers can be considered pal-in around with a terrorist,

AND,

McCain’s current association with Phil Gramm–the architect of today’s financial collapse–can be considered flirtin’ with disaster,

THEN how are we to judge the recurring sexual intercourse between secessionist, Alaska-First Todd Palin and VP nominee Sarah?

Is it consorting with the enemy? Does it rise to the level of treason?

Has anyone bothered to question Palin on his political affiliation with Alaska’s dark side?

I thought you were talking about his association with the Charles keating

I have a web site and would like to find free affiliate services to grow my traffic and popularity. Where can I find the directories?

Every directory worth noting on the Internet, thousands of them are listed on ISEDB. http://www.isedb.com/html/Web_Directories/General_Directories/
You never knew there could be so many directories! Some are free and some charge: the information is listed in the index so you can tell the free ones from the good ones. By the way if you ever get tired of finding ways to increase traffic to your web site and want to instead increase your web site revenue, contact me at the source link below. Traffic does not equal sales. Don’t get caught up in the SEO hype of popularity chasing and PR scores and the sand box jargon. These have nothing to do with making money online. Recent surveys from ClickZ and Nielson.net have revealed the top 100 revenue producing web sites are not optimized for search engines. On purpose too according to the web masters who quote the right ways to make money online have nothing to do with PR or Google – Yahoo! – MSN, etc. Details of research are here: http://www.azonlinemarketing.com/online-marketing-justsaynotoseo.php Just Say No to SEO…

I have absolutely no money right now to use for advertising my affiliate marketing website. I just paid a web designer to develop a coupon like site that promotes affiliate products, but I have not made any money on it yet (it’s only a month old) and now I don’t have money for advertising. What do you suggest I use for completely free advertising?

There are actually plenty of free ways to advertise your website. Things like article marketing and Squidoo are a great way to get backlinks to your website and advertise it. Write up a few articles that relate to your website and then post then on places like ezinearticles and other free article directories. You can also check out making a Squidoo page or a Hub Page that relates to your website.

Another way to advertise your website is to join any forums where you think people would be interested in your website and put the link in your signature. Just be sure that you don’t spam the forums and try to participate according to the rules of the forum.

A great way that you can advertise your affiliate marketing website is through social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. These are free to make accounts on and then just spend a couple of days trying to find some friends that may be interested in your website.

If you want more options for free advertising I recommend that you check out the website www.mattbacak.com. He has great information on there and even has a newsletter and membership group that you can sign up for.

I am starting a website and I need a little advice on which Affiliate Network to go with. I need mainly banner advertisements that will have a decent payout for 1000 impressions. Also, I need to be able to categorize my ads because I will need ads that are geared towards music and entertainment. Also, I need video advertisements to run before videos on my site. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Ever tried or heard of http://www.clickbank.com/index.html

You will have to use a credit card to sign up so you can get paid, but if you go there, there will be thousands of websites that you can become affiliated with that are in the music and entertainment division.
Go there and search it up.

Personally, I use clickbank to find a website, then I am subscribed to this website:

http://sitelauncherreviews.com/

That website charges $25/month and you can get access to ~200 templates after a while specifically geared toward target niches. So I use the affiliate to find a product, and the template to build a site based on that product.
I am just starting out so I am not making big bucks yet, but I do have a few websites that make me ~$200/month. And I don’t have to do a thing aside from buy a domain name.

Does the larger a group of people become…the blinder they are?

It seems that the bigger the organization, affiliation, association, company, etc…the more it loses touch with it’s customer and employee base. It becomes a monster that needs to constantly feed on great amounts at the expense of us.

Drug companies, big oil,…….Walmart!

For example: compare the humble hamburger from the biggest Mcchain and one from your neighborhood bar or eatery.

Agree or disagree?
Please elaborate if you can. I won’t bite.

It depends on the type of group. Corporations are only interested in the bottom line; their wallets. I don’t think they are blind at all… I think they see clearly but just don’t care cuz we buy their stuff anyway. Here’s a newsflash: The drug companies don’t give a sh*t if we are sick or healthy (actually, they prefer us to be sick cuz then we buy more drugs) they are in it for the $$ like any other big business.

But there are many different types of groups and organizations and people come together for different reasons. Large families, school groups, charitable causes; these types of groups depend heavily on the hierarchy of their group to keep its integrity… wise leaders create wise followers.

The big exception would be religious groups, because in their case, they follow blindly because that is what they are supposed to do. The problem is that these groups are so strong due to their size and popularity. It’s a little frightening.

is this not amazing? The global economy is in turmoil. All around the world there are money isssues. Isn’t is truly incredible how interconnected this world has become? Do you think something like this could’ve been possible even 20 years ago? I say this because with the internet (among other things) China, Australia, Europe etc is just a click away.

We are living history

You are exactly right..

I am going to be traveling from Shelby, NC to Verona (outside Madison), WI and would like to know if I can catch any news on the radio in my car on the way. Are there news shows on the weekend or just during the week?
wow tobscholarly, if only ESPN Radio had something so cool I’d be in business. Thanks so much!

http://www.npr.org/stations/

There is a section on there called NPR Road Trip that will help you with exactly what you are looking for.

Or you could be lazy like me and scroll up and down the dial from 87.5 to about 91.9 and see what you can find.

Incidentally, "Wait, Wait DOn’t Tell Me" comes on over the weekend. It is news in game show form. Very funny!
